** This might be a good idea as if the list of articles keeps growing, the page may become too long and unmanageable. It would also make navigation easier as a user reading an article from a particular news outlet could easily click on a link to find other articles from the same source. It would also be great to somehow sort the articles by year or date. One way might be to also subcategorize by year and/or add links to the articles published in a particular year to the page for that year. Rather, it would use i.e. <nowiki>[[Category:Press by the Mirror]][[Category:Press from 1990]]</nowiki> -- the 'Press by the Mirror' category would include <nowiki>[[Category:Press|Mirror]]</nowiki>, and likewise the 'Press from 1990' cat. could use <nowiki>[[Category:Press|1990]]</nowiki>. Alternately, we could use something like <nowiki>[[Category:The Mirror (Press)|Mirror, The (Press)]][[Category:1990 (Press)]]</nowiki> within the articles, then the subcategories in question could avoid the manual organization mechanism and use a more simple "<nowiki>[[Category:Press]]</nowiki>". --[[User:Monger|Monger]] 07:20, 28 Jun 2005 (CDT) | ||

- What do you all think about subcategorizing the press section by outlet? --Craven de Kere 03:39, 28 Jun 2005 (CDT)

It would also be great to somehow sort the articles by year or date. One way might be to also subcategorize by year and/or add links to the articles published in a particular year to the page for that year. Peter F. 04:43, 28 Jun 2005 (CDT)
- I think this makes sense. I propose an article from the Mirror from 1990 be categorized using: [[Category:Press by the Mirror|Mirror]][[Category:Press from 1990|1990]] ...Or is there a better subcategory naming/organizing convention? --Monger 06:01, 28 Jun 2005 (CDT)

Rather, it would use i.e. [[Category:Press by the Mirror]][[Category:Press from 1990]] -- the 'Press by the Mirror' category would include [[Category:Press|Mirror]], and likewise the 'Press from 1990' cat. could use [[Category:Press|1990]]. Alternately, we could use something like [[Category:The Mirror (Press)|Mirror, The (Press)]][[Category:1990 (Press)]] within the articles, then the subcategories in question could avoid the manual organization mechanism and use a more simple "[[Category:Press]]". --Monger 07:20, 28 Jun 2005 (CDT)

- Indian Joe & other editors, based on the way the Category:Press articles have been titled, they are automatically being organized by news outlet. What about changing the manual listing to arrange articles by date? --Monger 10:10, 23 Mar 2005 (CST)
- How are we going to organise these articles? By name, date, newspaper? Also, are we wanting to include any and every article ever written about this group? Thorwald 13:27, 6 Feb 2005 (CST)
