A post Reorganization Nationalization Revolution (RNR) term for a commune or "colony". Shaking off The Family's radical hippie movement image, "homes" were to appear as more family-like units. They are considered missionary outposts, and manned by members who may be of different status, from Family Disciples to Missionary Members to Fellow Members. Different policies have been enacted over the years defining what constitutes a "home", based on combinations of status and/or quantity of members. Homes are also expected to live up to stringent standards detailed in The Family's governing Charter.
