Sir Alan Hylton Ward (born 1938-02-15), styled The Right Honourable Lord Justice Ward, is a judge in the Court of Appeal of England and Wales and Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.
Sir Alan Ward was appointed as a Justice of the High Court Family Division on 1988-05-10, and as a Lord Justice of Appeal on 1995-02-13. All Court of Appeal judges, including Ward, are senior judges with lengthy judicial experience. Appointment to the Court of Appeal is by The Queen on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
From February 1992 to November 1995, Sir Alan Ward presided over a prominent court case involving The Family International.
