Masataro Narita (born 1925) and wife Tsutako Narita (Japanese; known in the group as Johane/Johanes and Lydia, and affectionately referred to as Otosan [father] and Okasan [mother]) currently live at the Heavenly City School (HCS) in Tateyama, Japan, which is built on property purchased for The Family International by the Naritas.
Years ago, Mr. Narita owned a nightclub called Charivari in the high-priced Ginza district of Japan. He has financed many Family projects, and in the past contributed tens of thousands of dollars every month to finance the HCS.
Mrs. Narita has struggled with cancer for many years.
