Family Care Foundation (FCF) (EIN 33-0734917) is a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation based in Dulzura, California. FCF attempts to attract tax-exempt charitable donations for ventures run by members of The Family International. Despite voluminous documentation suggesting otherwise, both The Family International and The Family Care Foundation have strongly denied that there is any connection between them. In February 2005, FCF excutive director Larry Corley told San Francisco Chronicle reporter Don Lattin that, "there is no relationship, period. It is not a front for the Family. It is not tied to the Family." Similarly, in February 2005 Family International spokesperson Claire Borowik stated "There is no legal relationship between the Family and the Family Care Foundation."
In 2003, FCF's total revenue was over $3 million, with charitable distribution at slightly over $2.5 million (see Forms 990, below).
