Introducing the END! CM/FM 3157 1/98

Dear Family,
1. God bless you! We've received numerous enthusiastic responses to the various currents GNs with prophecies from the Lord, Dad and others. So many of you have commented on how interested you are in current events, especially when given the Heavenly perspective on them by the Lord or Dad. The problem we've had in keeping you up to date with the views from Heaven on the current events of the day is getting it out to you fast enough! With so many timely and important topics to cover in the GNs, we haven't always been able to give the currents GNs as high a priority as we'd like. However, with world events happening so quickly and so much of our witness being related to the Endtime, it's important that you are kept informed about what's going on in the world and the significance of these events through getting the Lord's view on them.
2. When praying about how to accomplish this, the Lord showed us to publish a new monthly mag which will provide you with the latest news updates, along with comments and prophecies on them hot off the griddle from Heaven! This new monthly magazine is called the Endtime News Digest--The END--and will take the place of the WND. The END will primarily focus on giving you Heaven's outlook on the news as speedily as possible so that you're well informed about the progression of Endtime events. It will be packed with current events that you need to be familiar with in order to be a well informed, wise witness--and it won't just be the news as reported by the press, but you'll get the Lord's and Dad's Heavenly perspective and insight!
3. When the Lord spoke to us about the importance of this new publication, He said:
4. Without a vision, the people perish! Without a vision, they do not believe. Without a vision, they do not see that My Words are coming to pass. They need to see the fulfillment of My Words. My Endtime army needs to be convinced in spirit that the End is approaching, so you must show them that it is coming to pass, that these things are true and that they are swiftly, but silently, coming upon them.
5. This is very important, for My children need to hear a clear sound of the trumpet, and they need it before them on a regular basis. They are an impatient people who want to see everything happen now. If it's not happening immediately, they tend to think that it's not going to happen at all. But what they don't see is that it is happening all about them--not as swiftly as they might hope or expect, but it's happening nevertheless, and they need to be reminded of this.
6. You are launching an attack, a fight for the hearts and the minds of your young ones! They will soon be called upon to stand up and testify that the End is drawing near. So they need training, answers, conviction, faith and vision, and this all comes from the Word. This is what you will be pouring forth to them through this mag--the Word on these events. 7. When I asked Dad if he'd be willing to comment on the news articles every month, he said:
'8.' {\b \i (Dad speaking:)} I'll be happy to give you my comments! That's just what I love doing--stirring people up, lighting a fire under them and waking them up! So be prepared for some concentrated stirring, folks! Get ready for the unadulterated news! If you've been a little sleepy, you'd better get ready for a few wake-up calls concerning the news! This is going to be news like you've never heard before--no frills, no soft-pedaling, no padding and smoke screens like the newspapers give you, just the plain truth. You're going to hear the news from Heaven and get God's perspective on things, because only He really knows what's going on. I'll report or comment to you to the best of my ability and I'll let you in on everything I can, okay?
9. So, here we go! This is exciting! It's going to give you a new approach in your witnessing and a fresh new interest in the signs of the times. It will keep you abreast of the latest developments as we move closer to the Endtime. But it won't do you any good unless you read it! Don't be like an ostrich and think you can just stick your head in the sand and hope everything will work out okay, and that you'll pull your head out when it's all over! You need to pull your head out now and see where things are headed!
10. Okay, let's roll it! Let's make it powerful! Let's make it count! Let's report the news like it really is--and you'll be able to do just that with our help from Heaven. (End of message from Dad.)
11. So here it is, folks--the first edition of the END, which we're very excited to get into your hands. Our staff of one FGA and two SGAs will be producing a new issue every month, God willing, and we hope you find it as interesting as we do!
