THE SEVEN GOALS OF THE MILLENNIUM! 8/86 --The New Heaven's Children!--Chapter 16! ML#2265
1. SO AFTER A LITTLE REST UP IN HEAVEN, WHAT DO WE COME BACK DOWN & DO? (DAVID: CLEAN UP!) Help them clean up & rebuild. They call it "reconstruction", a great big word. What does that mean, "reconstruction"? What's a "construction"? (Techi: To make or build up?) To build up again, reconstruction, to build again their homes & villages, etc.--Not their filthy cities! And what's "rehabitation"? What's a habitation? (Techi: Living place.) Yes! Like this house! So we have to help re-house them. (Techi: To make it habitable.) Yes, to make it habitable, that means livable. A habitation is where you live. To make it habitable, you reconstruct it & rehabilitate it.--Restore it to a livable condition.
2. BUT WHEN WE GO AROUND HELPING THESE PEOPLE REBUILD THEIR VILLAGES, it's not so much rebuilding their villages as it is building new villages for the people from the cities that had no villages, right? So we have to go around helping them build their villages & rehabilitate them by this reconstruction of their countries with new villages, & to learn how to farm again. A lot of them living in the cities almost forgot or never knew how to farm, right? So we're reconstructing their habitations & building new villages & rehabilitating them, teaching them how to live in a new place & farm, etc. so that we are restoring the Earth & making it habitable again, giving them places to live, things to do, & farms.
3. THEY'LL NOT ONLY FARM, BUT IN THE VILLAGES THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE WHAT? I mean, you can't farm without what?--Plows...(Techi: Houses.) Yes, & houses need what inside? (David: Furniture.) And what do they need to get around on? (Techi: Wagons.) Wagons, carriages, buggies, carts. So there are all kinds of skills. What do they need to wear? (Children: Clothes.) Clothing. All kinds of skills they'll need in the villages--making vehicles, furniture, cloth, clothes, tools, etc.
4. ARE THEY GOING TO RUN ON GASOLINE? (Children: No.) How are they going to run?--Hay-burners! They don't make the hay-burners though, Who makes the hay burners? Who are the hay-burners? (Children: Horses, cows.) Horses & cows & caribou & oxen & yaks & water buffalos, all kinds of animal transportation that pull the carts & the wagons & the carriages etc., & we call them "hay-burners" because they eat hay, right? They're not gas-burners, but hay-burners.--Not gas-burners, but grass-burners!
5. SO THEY HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF DIFFERENT SKILLS & SMALL FAMILY INDUSTRIES & FACTORIES to build all of these things, these animal-drawn vehicles & furniture for houses & plows for farmers, tools for farmers, so there'll be a lot of small industries where they make stuff by hand.
6. AND WHAT OTHER KIND OF VEHICLES ARE WE GOING TO HAVE DURING THE MILLENNIUM? (DAVID: BOATS.) Boats & ships! What's the difference between a boat & a ship? (David: A boat is a small ship.) It's a small vehicle for the water, but a ship is a big one, like a big sailing ship with big sails. Don't ever let any sailor catch you calling his big ship a boat, or he'll correct you right away! "That's not a boat! I work on a ship!" There're other kinds of ships that fly in the sky. (David: Airplanes.) Air ships! They call them airships. We usually call them airplanes, but they are also called airships.
7. DID YOU KNOW THAT ON THOSE AIRSHIPS THEY HAVE A CAPTAIN & they have a steward & they have stewardesses & they have a crew, just like on a sailing ship! They have a galley, they call the kitchen the galley, just like they do on a sailing ship, & they use all the ship terms, such as starboard, port & fore & aft & all those things, just like on sailing ships. So they're preserving all that language & all the ideas of the sailing ships even on the airships! They even measure their distances & their speed in what? (David: Knots.) Knots! What's a knot? (David: I don't know!) Well, actually it's just slightly longer than a mile. (Note: One land mile is 5280 feet, while one nautical or air mile is 6076 feet.)
8. THE REASON THEY CALL THEM "KNOTS" is because of the way a ship used to tell how fast it was going, they had a rope with a bunch of knots tied in it with a big float on the end. They would throw the float with the rope tied to it on the surface of the sea, & it would stay behind the ship. As the knots passed through the sailor's hands, they counted the knots & timed their speed, & that way they found out how many knots they were going, how fast & how far they were going. (David: But didn't the float come along with them?) Well, when they got to the end of the rope, of course, they didn't let it go, they pulled it back in again. (David: Oh, I see, they anchored it so it wouldn't move.)
9. THEY THREW IT ON THE SURFACE OF THE SEA & it was heavy enough that it would stay there, see? It would move around a little bit, but it would stay behind the boat, & the boat would get further & further & further from the float & more & more knots would pass through the hand, so they came to the end of the rope & they knew how fast they were going by the knots. Then they'd pull it back in again. They knew exactly how much space there was between each of the knots & they'd time it, how fast the knots would pass through their hands, & that way they could figure out the speed of the ship. They knew how long the rope was, how many knots it had & if it passed through their hands in so many minutes, they knew how fast they were going, see?
10. IF THE ROPE WAS WHAT THEY CALLED ONE KNOT LONG--it didn't just have one knot, it actually had frequent knots. But if it was a whole knot long, a little more than a mile, then by the time they got to the end of the rope, they knew they went a knot, right? And if they timed it, how long it took them to go that knot, then they would know how fast they were going, wouldn't they?
11. JUST LIKE IF YOU WATCH YOUR SPEEDOMETER, or if you didn't even have a speedometer that told you your speed, you could just watch your distance & watch to see how long it took you to go a mile, then you'd know how fast you were going, wouldn't you? If you went that mile in so many minutes, then you could figure out how many miles an hour you were going. (David: How do you do that?)
12. FOR EXAMPLE, MAYBE IF YOU WENT ONE MILE IN FIVE MINUTES, how fast are you going? How many five minutes are there in an hour? How many of those figures are there on a clock? (David: 12.) And each figure is five minutes, isn't it? So if it took you five minutes to go one mile, how many miles an hour are you going? (David: 12.) Twelve miles an hour, that's about how fast you go on your bicycle, maybe even faster.
13. MAYBE YOU EVEN WENT TWO MILES IN FIVE MINUTES ON A BICYCLE. You can go about 24 miles an hour on a bicycle, couldn't you?--Even faster maybe. You see, that's how you figure it, how far you can go in such-&-such a time. So that's how the boats figure out how fast they're going. Now they've got instruments that are operated by little propellers & so on, that measure the same thing, & measure how fast they're going.
14. SO ANYWAY, WE'VE GOT TO GET DONE WITH THIS STORY! My goodness, we're just getting up to the point I was going to tell you about this morning, & this took us all this time for review, a children's review. So anyway, now after helping them sort of get reconstructed & rehabilitated & resettled--what does that mean, "resettled"? (Techi: Settled again!) Settled again.--Out of the cities & into the country & into the villages & small towns, etc. That's all necessary to take care of the people first, right, & their bodies & feed them.
15. THEY SAY IT'S PRETTY HARD TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO A GUY ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. If the old bum is hungry & has got an empty stomach, he's going to be thinking more about his stomach than his soul, his heart, or his Salvation, right? So I used to either give them a coin to get them a hamburger, or take them to a hamburger stand to make sure they got a hamburger & not another shot of whisky, to be sure they spent it on the right thing. Then after they were happy & their stomach was full & contented, then I could preach them the Gospel & try to get them saved, right?
16. SO WE'VE GOT TO GET THE WORLD'S POPULATION SORT OF ORGANISED & ensure peace & reconstruct it, rehabilitate it & resettle it before we can really go on a fulltime drive & program to do what? The first thing you need in order to be saved is, you need to be born the first time, right? You need a body--not a starved body or a dead body, but a live body, a physical body, right? Then you can talk about Salvation.
17. SO NOW WE'RE GOING TO GO ON A BIG DRIVE TO DO WHAT? (Techi: Help them.) How? (Techi: Resettle them.) Yes, but now we've done all that, I've talked about that! What's the next thing? (David: Save them!) Yes! Getting them saved, winning them to the Lord, right? So in the next Chapter, Lord willing, I'm going to tell you all about how we did it, how we're doing it. That's what I was going to tell you this morning, but I spent the whole time on review. Poor folks! I don't know whether they're going to want to read all this over again! This is what Chapters 13 & 14 are all about, just reviewing. (Maria: Well, we got some things straightened out!)
18. WELL, HAVE YOU GOT SOME OF THESE THINGS A LITTLE CLEARER IN YOUR MINDS NOW, including knots & so on? Well, knots has something to do with the Millennium because we're going to have sailboats. We're going to have to know how fast they're going so we'll know how long it's going to take them to get to such-&-such a village on the river or the lake or across the sea, & when to expect them to be there, whether it will still be daylight or dark or what. (David: Yes, lakes or even the sea.) Even the sea, yes. We're going to have seas in the Millennium. (David: Just not on the New Earth.) It's not the New Earth yet, not on the New Earth. This is the Millennium!
19. WE'LL STILL HAVE LAKES & RIVERS ON THE NEW EARTH, we know that because the Bible says so. (Techi: Not in Heaven, of course.) No, not earthly seas in Heaven or the New Earth, either one. Heaven is the City itself, don't forget that. The New Earth is where there will be lakes & rivers. (Techi: But the Millennium is not the New Earth.) No, it's not the New Earth, not until after the Millennium.--After the Millennium & what Battle? (Techi: The Battle of Gog & Magog.) Yes!--Then there's the New Earth! Okay, well let's not get too far ahead.
20. NOW I'VE BROUGHT YOU IN REVIEW UP TO THE POINT WHERE WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A MAJOR DRIVE NOW TO TRY TO PREACH THE GOSPEL to the whole World & get millions of people saved, & I'm going to tell you how we're going to do it! (Techi: Oh, fun!) I've taken a trip into the Future in the Spirit & I have seen it & I can hardly wait to tell you about it!
21. CHAPTER 12 DOES TELL A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HOW WE'RE GOING TO DO IT! But oh, you're going to get some interesting things in Chapter 17! This is now Chapter 16. Most of my Chapters are only half-an-hour long, those Chapters that are eight pages long, they are only half-an-hour long. But we were an hour-&-a-half this morning with this review! It might have to be several Chapters!
22. BUT ANYWAY, WE BROUGHT YOU UP TO DATE NOW & where we've got the reconstruction.--Give me those three big words again. (Children: Reconstruction, rehabilitation & resettlement.) Right! Also peace, we should say we brought peace to the World, organised the government. We brought peace & order, which means government & reconstruction, rehabilitation & resettlement.
23. NOW, CAN YOU REMEMBER ALL FIVE OF THOSE? I bet we can think of seven! (Techi: Peace.) Peace, we abolished war. What next, you've got to have some kind of what?--Government. We've brought government to the World. We've brought peace, abolished arms, we brought order by government, & then re construction, rehabilitation & resettlement, & number seven--religion! (Maria: Regener ation!) Right! That's a nice big word, that's quite a religion! Regeneration means getting saved.
24. SO WE HAVE BROUGHT PEACE, DISARMAMENT, GOVERNMENT, RECONSTRUCTION, REHABILITATION, RESETTLEMENT & REGENERATION! How's that? So that's seventhings! Now, some would say peace is the same as no war, but to have peace you have to enforce no war, so we've abolished all the weapons of war & we're getting rid of all that junk & that was a big job, to get rid of war & bring peace. Maybe we should have said first get rid of war & then bring peace.
25. OKAY, CAN EVERYBODY REMEMBER THOSE AGAIN NOW? We've brought peace, disarmament, good government, reconstruction, rehabilitation, resettlement & regeneration! Alright, praise the Lord! Shall we pray? (Techi: Shall we both pray?) Well, you've both prayed before. What about letting Mama pray? Can you pray briefly, Mama?
26. (MARIA: AMEN, THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS WONDERFUL TIME WITH GRANDPA, & with You, Lord, in hearing Thy plan for the Future & the wonderful things that You're going to bring about & use us to help to do it, Lord. We thank You so much for continuing to give us a place in Thy Kingdom & to give us good work to do & help us to do it.
27. (GIVE US THE TOOLS & THE SUPERNATURAL MEANS THAT WE'LL NEED, LORD. We thank You for Your mercy on these other people, Lord, that didn't know You so well, that You're going to give them still a chance for a wonderful life & benefits & blessings, & most of all, Lord, to learn to know You in an intimate way & to really love You.
28. (SO THANK YOU FOR GRANDPA'S SACRIFICE IN GIVING US ALL THIS & the wonderful review & how we've gotten so many things straightened out, even today in our minds. So continue to bless & continue to anoint him as he continues to listen to You & hear more from You to pass on to us for our benefit & edification, in Jesus' name, Amen.)
29. AMEN! WHAT IS THAT BIG WORD THAT MEANS ABOLISHING WAR & ALL ITS WEAPONS? What was that big word that means to get rid of war & all the weapons & all the arms? (Maria: Disarmament.) Disarmament! That's the first thing you've got to do to get rid of war, right? Disarmament, establish peace & order, good government, reconstruction, rehabilitation, resettlement & regeneration! How many is that? (Children: Seven!) Seven major programs of the Millennium! (Children review the seven major programs.) Very good!
30. SHALL WE PRAY THE LORD'S PRAYER? Because in the Lord's prayer, that's exactly what you're praying for, for all that! Think of it as you pray this time & see. As we pray together the prayer the Lord taught us to pray--& we've been praying it ever since, & that's just what we're praying for, we're literally praying for the Millennium!
31. IN THE LORD'S PRAYER, WHAT'S THE MILLENNIUM CALLED? (David: The Kingdom.) The Kingdom, "Thy Kingdom come on Earth", that's the Millennium, see? So now we're going to pray for the Millennium, this is the Millennial Prayer. Most people call it the Lord's Prayer.--It is the Lord's Prayer, because He taught it to us, but it's about the Millen nium, how about that? Okay, now don't pray to the "witches in Heaven", start off with "Our Father which art in Heaven", okay? (All pray the Lord's Prayer together.)
32. BLESS US ALL TODAY NOW, Lord, keep us safe & prayerful & careful & cautious & busy for You, Lord, even on our day off for reading Thy Word, resting, gaining strength for a new week of work tomorrow, & helping each other, loving each other, Lord, & being happy in You & each others' arms, in Jesus' name, amen! XXXXXXX!--What are your goals?
