STAND UP & FIGHT! DO 2476 9/88
1. I think this is one case where the Family is going to have to stand up & fight, in the case of the School in Japan. If there is any place we've proven ourselves, it's there! And I don't think we ought to lose without a battle! Those kids there have worked hard to develop their Park & all the rest, & they have nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever. Our enemies have never proven any of those charges against us & I think it's an ideal place to take a stand & just refuse to back off!
2. Obviously the Lord wants to get the publicity, so it's an ideal time now to stand up & fight! I think it's the place to take a stand! They haven't proven any of those ridiculous allegations against us. The Family has been open & above-board & they've been proving themselves there, & I think it's the place to take a stand & fight & refuse to back down & just go right ahead just like they have been & don't let our enemies scare them out.
3. If you run now, they'll think you're guilty! You need to stand up & fight! You've nothing to be ashamed of! You've got a good reputation there. You've proven yourselves there & we've done a terrific job there & everybody has been proud of you until those lies started being circulated by that shitsheet magazine! You just need to stand up & fight now & prove that they're lies. I think you've already proven it there. I don't think you ought to take this lying down!
4. I think if the authorities there decide to turn against us, we ought to get a lawyer & fight it! Let's make a real scene & show how unjust the Japanese & their authorities are if they mistreat us like that! If one little woman & one man & one missionary can make such a stir as they did about the way the government treated them, my God, think what a stir we could make! (See "Future Persecution in Japan!", GN 334, #2439:32-41) We ought to really fight & make a scene!
5. Don't just take it! Stand up & fight! Refuse to back down! Just go right ahead with what you've been doing the way you've been doing it! We have nothing to be ashamed of. Just expose your enemies like they're trying to expose you, let's expose them for what liars they are! Expose the Japanese government if they believe those lies.--If they start crucifying us on the lies of our enemies, they need to be exposed!
6. (Maria: Yes, maybe they ought to try to get the same lawyer that woman had to help her fight for her religious freedom.) Well, they wouldn't fight for us, they're churchy, all church people. It's the churches & the church people who are backing that missionary! They're our enemies. We need to get some radical lawyer that really has got some guts, willing to even stand up against the church people.
7. Let's face it, it's the church people that are crucifying us. And everything I said in "It's Time To Fight!" holds true in this case. We need to stand up & fight now! Not back down, not flee! The Family's flown about as far as they can fly! I think they ought to stand their ground this time. There is just almost no place else to fly or flee to! We have nothing to be ashamed of in Japan. We've done nothing wrong in Japan, & there's no excuse for them to mistreat us there.
8. So let's stand up & fight & make a scene about it! Let's turn around & get the full benefit of this publicity. Just stand up & fight & give our side.
9. It's time to fight & not back down! We've got nothing to be ashamed of in Japan. All these media accusations are lies or they're old hat. Why not just ask those rascals, "What have we done lately? What are we doing wrong here? We've done everything right & everybody knows it!" Everybody has recognised that we have done nothing but good there. Just ask them, "For which of these good works do you stone us?"--John 10:32. I think they ought to pitch in & really fight it!
10. Every publication that publishes those lies & tries to smear us, we ought to insist on giving our side of the story, expose what liars our enemies are, how evil they are & how they're trying to destroy our good works & all the good we're doing there. Let's stir up a fight! They want to fight?--Let's stir it up! They started it, let's finish it! To give up is like we're admitting that we're guilty. We need to stand up & fight it, deny it, rebuke it, expose it, just hang on & fight it!
11. We may not win, but at least we will have fought a good fight & finished the course & kept the faith in spite of our enemies!--2Tim.4:7. They want to expose us, now let's expose them! I think the Family ought to fight it like they did in the Philippines--even if they have to call a press conference!
12. Let's see if our friends have any guts! You know, that's the mistake they made at that press conference in the Philippines, during the persecution there. They should have invited all those generals & colonels & majors & all of our friends there to it & put them on the spot! (Maria: I think they did invite them, but it seems like they didn't want to come for some reason, ha!) We ought to make them ashamed of themselves if they don't come! If even one of those military officers had had the guts to come & stand up in our defence it would have counted & the Lord would have seen to it that he got his reward.
13. Now let's see what kind of fighters the Japanese are! If we've got any real friends, let's see'm stand up & fight!--Or are they all a bunch of pussy footin', yellow-livered cowards? The Family's just got no place left to flee to, let's fight it! Make an issue of it! (They're fighting!)
14. I'll tell you, if the Scribes & the Pharisees ever exposed themselves & how vicious & vile & cruel they were, it was by crucifying Jesus, & I think that convinced a lot of people how bad they were. They're trying to expose us, let's expose them! Let's fight it! Get a good lawyer & fight it! (Our friends are standing up!)
15. If that magazine has lied about us, let's sue them! Let's sue them for libel & slander! Let's at least stand up & tell our story! Expose them for the liars they are! Just tell the public that they've always been telling these lies about us, but they've never proved one of them yet!
16. (Maria: But where they have told the truth about our sex beliefs in an attempt to smear us since they conflict with System tradition, we'll just go on the attack with your latest, "Preach Sex!") I think the Japanese are one people who would appreciate that message. (Maria: Yes, you know what the Family wrote us, they really like Don Quixotes there! They sort of envy them & wish they could be like them. They admire people that will really stand up & fight, even though they don't often join them, ha!) Well, let's do it! Let's do it!
17. (Maria: Our friends can all legitimately say, like the blind man in John 9 said, "Well, I don't know about any of these accusations, but one thing I know is that whereas I was blind, now I see!"--John 9:25. They could say, "We don't know anything about all this, we haven't seen any of this stuff, all these charges you're bringing up.--All we know is the good sample & all the good that they have done!")
18. Exactly, there are plenty of examples right there in the New Testament & throughout the Bible showing how to answer the liars & the enemies of the Truth. (Maria: That's all our friends have to say: "Well, we've never seen any evidence of this stuff. We know them, & look at all the good they're doing!"--That's what they should bring out.) Of course, exactly.
19. OK, let's stand up & fight now! It's time to fight! We can't back off any further. They've got our backs against the wall. The School has no place to go & no place to flee. We're open & public & have been completely open there. We have shown ourselves, exhibited ourselves, proven ourselves. We've really challenged the liars right there.--1Sam.14:6-16. I think we need to take a stand. It's time to quit running, to stand up & fight! Whether we win or lose, at least we will have "fought a good fight!"--2.Tim.4:7
COUNSEL FOR THAI PRESS CONFERENCE
20. (Maria: I guess it would be somewhat the same case in Thailand too where all the foreign journalists are getting together to view the "20/20" show, & have invited us to come.) Yes, just tell'm to fight. "For which one of these good works do you stone us?" Just tell'm to fight! Let's prove what liars they are!
21. Why not get a lawyer? You need somebody who is a Thai & can speak their language. The best defenders of the early Christians were lawyers who were members of the System. They'll have to work it out & ask the Lord how to do it. I can't tell them every detail, I just think it's time to fight! I'm tired of running & just letting the Enemy have the field!
22. I think it's time to fight! Let's fight it! Let's expose our enemies & their lies! That's what Jesus finally did. He finally came right out in the open & called them liars, hypocrites! Just read the 23rd chapter of Matthew, He really socked it to them! Of course, they killed Him a week later for it, but nevertheless, at least He got the Truth out & told them off!
23. What was it Jesus said to them? "Woe unto you, Scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye make clean the outside of the cup & of the platter, but within ye are full of extortion & excess! Woe unto you, Scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones & of all uncleanness!"--Mat.23:25-27.
24. It's time to fight! It's time to stand up & expose our enemies, even if they kill us for it! That's what Jesus had to do! Paul & Peter had to do it too!--They finally had to stand up & fight to expose the Enemy & show what liars they were.
25. (Maria: They could say, "Look, you Japanese have received us. You discerned the truth, you knew what was right. Your judgement was good. It was those outsiders who have tried to cause trouble & stir you up against us!" They could blame it on the outsiders because it's true, the Japanese did receive us. It was our outside enemies who came & stirred things up. They could pit the Japanese against the rest of the World!)
26. "You're not going to allow these foreigners to come over here & deceive you & stir you up against us, are you? You don't want to do that, do you?" (Maria: In other words, show that the foreigners again are just trying to weasel in & manipulate the Japanese. Appeal to their sense of independence & isolation.--That they were pure before, but now they're getting polluted by the foreign influence. They made the right decision originally, they were on the right track & received us.)
27. They can tell'm, "What's the truth?--Come out here & see it! Here's the truth! Here we are! What have we done wrong? We've done nothing but good! `For which of these good works do you stone us?'"
28. (Maria: The Japanese received us. It was sort of like their home-grown work, the Family there was doing it for them, for their benefit, giving them the answers to their problems, & they knew it & they knew how good it was.) "What are you going to do?--Let these foreigners come in & destroy us & destroy it & destroy you?"
29. "What's wrong with us? What have we done wrong? We've done nothing but good, nothing but preach good & love & you've been thrilled with it! We've got the proof how good it is in our children. You've seen it, you've heard it. Now are you going to believe the lies of our enemies & let that destroy it? Don't let these foreign devils come in & destroy your good works & our good works!"
FIGHT WITH A COUNTER-STATEMENT!
30. They need to get out a counter-statement immediately to that magazine. They need to go on the attack, not just defence! Remind the press that our enemies have actually paid tens of thousands of Dollars to the press to publish these lies against us. Publish some insinuations against the evil press! And let them know that this magazine was probably paid to publish these lies.--And it wouldn't be the first time. We know of several cases where the press has been paid by our enemies to publish such lies & smears against us!
31. Anyhow, just tell them to take a stand & fight! Let's fight it! There's no place to run! Let's seize it as an opportunity to get up & tell the truth, tell the facts & expose our enemies!--Our lying, evil, wicked, filthy enemies who are trying to destroy our good. Let's tell the truth & show them what's really happening! Amen?
32. (Maria: It reminds me of the situation with Bush during the debate with Dukakis, he said, "Well, let's forget all of the stuff in the past." In other words, he didn't defend himself or whether they were lying about him or not. He said, "Let's forget it. Look at the overall record. Look at the good I've done. Look at all we've accomplished.") Yes, "Forget the mistakes! Look at all the good we've done." (Maria: He just continued to get their minds on the positive & forget getting into all the details about what he did in the past.)
IT'S TIME TO FIGHT!
33. I think they ought to stand their ground at the Japan School & just proceed as usual. Just gear everybody into a fighting mode! Attack, attack! We've done nothing wrong there, we've done nothing but good. If they don't believe it, let them go & see it. (Maria: Yes, if they think the Children of God are so bad, they can just look at our kids! That's the fruit! That's what they've been seeing all of the time!--The fruit of the Children of God!) Come & see! That's what Jesus said, "Come & see!"--John 1:46.
34. Hold your ground! Don't give an inch to the Devil! Praise God! Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! In Jesus' name, Lord, bless them & keep them & give them strength & wisdom & skill & guts to fight!--With great wisdom & anointing & power! In Jesus' name, help them, Lord! Show them how to fight, Lord, how to expose our enemies to prove they're liars!
35. Help our people, Lord, give Thy Children the victory! Bring victory, Lord, out of seeming defeat, in Jesus' name! Amen! You promised, Lord, that all things would work together for good to them that love Thee. Now do it, Lord! Make this seeming defeat work together for good for Thy Children to bring a great victory for the Truth!

36. (Maria: They could have a press conference & have their music group there & give'm a real fighting show! Wow, that would be exciting!) Exactly! Right! Fine! And they could do it free for the press, just like the Family did in the Philippines. Serve refreshments!
37. Let's go on the attack & not back down! Attack mode! Just refuse to let them intimidate us! Let's go all-out & attack while we have the facilities & we've got the wherewithal to do it. We've got the talent, the personnel, the facilities, we've got everything we need. We're well-known so let's publicise it! Let's show'm what liars our enemies are! "For which of these good works do ye stone us?"
38. Praise the Lord! Thank You Lord! You promised, that vengeance is Yours, You will repay! Stand back & see You fight! This is Your battle, Lord, not even ours. So fight for us, Lord! Defeat our vicious enemies! Reveal the Truth, Lord, to those who need & deserve it. Damn our enemies! Save the good, Lord! And damn the evil!
39. They just really ought to challenge them! Just ask them, "What's wrong with what we've done here?--All the good we've done here? What's wrong with it? Why do you believe these lies of our enemies? Come & see for yourselves all the good we've done! Ask our neighbours. Ask the people! Ask our friends! What wrong have we done? We've done nothing but good. And if Japan doesn't want this good, our good, then they'll go to Hell!"
40. Fight! Stand up & fight! I don't doubt they paid that magazine to do that article. Otherwise, I don't think they would have been that interested or that persistent, they just wanted to earn their money. They published our enemies' lies, so I think we ought to tell them, "OK, come up now & why don't you hear our side of the story & publish the Truth? Or do you only publish one side? Are you really an impartial magazine? Or are you biased?"
41. I think we ought to attack! We have certainly nothing but good works in Japan. If they don't want us to help them, then let them go to Hell! It's probably their last chance, I'm sure! There must be some honest people amongst the press, some people willing to give us a chance.
42. I wish I could do it! I'd love to go there & stand up & sock it to them! But I have to use other mouthpieces, & the Lord can do it through those that speak the language! Lord, give them the guts to stand up & fight & speak it! Help them to sock it to them!
43. God bless our Filipina national, little Jeru! She had the guts to do it during the persecution there! We had the biggest paper in the Philippines on our side. Lord, You could turn the hearts of the big ones in Japan towards us like "The Japan Times". Give them the guts to stand up for the Truth, to deny the lies of that shitsheet!
44. I don't think our people ask enough questions. I don't think they fire back & fight enough! They should have been asking those sneaky reporters, "Who are you? Who paid you to do this? Who started this, anyhow? What foreign enemy of ours came in? Who corrupted you & polluted you & paid you to do this? Let's face it, you're getting paid to do it!" You know they were! They wouldn't go to that much trouble unless they were getting paid to do it, suborned witnesses, false witnesses.
45. How I would love to fight'm! My God! God help our people to have the guts to stand up & fight! It's better to die for something than to live for nothing! Lord, make a real team out of those there & help them to really sock it to them, in Jesus' name!
46. Maybe they ought to have the press conference right there at the School, force them to see what we've accomplished. The reporters may say they're too busy to go out there, blah, blah, but they weren't too busy to lie about us! Our enemies weren't too busy to go there & investigate. Let's see about the rest of them. They can't be pussyfooting around, we need to sock it to'm!
47. "For which of these good works do ye stone us?"--"What's the matter with what we're doing?--Nothing but good! What evil have we done here?" (Maria: I guess it's like you said, we weren't getting enough publicity, so the Lord is using this to give us more, hallelujah!) Yes! GBY! Sock it to'm!
