The Family International believes that Satan, or the Devil, is a very real and present danger to their daily lives.
He is seen as the main force behind:
- opposition and persecution;
- physical illness;
- community discord;
- lack of disciplined behavior on the part of children; and
- personal failures of all types
Possession
The group believes that individuals can become demonically possessed and they believe in actively fighting this condition through exorcisms.
